Phillip Drake is an actual Tampa native, and became a member of Harris and Hunt in 2006, as a paralegal. Prior to joining Harris and Hunt, Phil spent eight years in county and state government with seven of those years in the Florida Attorney General Children’s Legal Services division (CLS) dealing with abandoned, abused, and neglected children. While at CLS he was the senior paralegal, the liaison with the Juvenile Clerk of Court office, the CLS database manager for the State, and tracked and recorded statistics for the Division. Phil has traveled extensively from Miami to Vancouver; San Diego to New Hampshire and throughout several European countries. Since landing at Harris and Hunt, Phil’s paralegal duties have entailed analysis of discovery and financial documents, preparation for court, depositions, collaborative case meetings, mediations, etc., providing a conduit for client issues and answers to our client’s (non-legal) questions.
